Mar 23, 2000 Here and There MacWorld
reviewed five digital video cameras ranging in price
from $999 to $1,799:the Sony DCR-TRV103, DCR-PC1, and
DCR-TRV10; the Canon Elura; and the Panasonic PV-DV910. They
concluded that if cost is your primary concern, get the
Panasonic PV-DV910, but the best all-around model is the
Sony DCR-TRV10.
And
MacWorld also has an article on using iMovie (by the
way, version 2.0 of iMovie is expected in a few weeks, and
it may be sold separately; currently iMovie is only
available when bought with an iMac.):
Ananova,
the world's first virtual newscaster, is all set to go live
on April 19. This 3D rendered newscaster with computer
generated voice will be broadcasting via RealPlayer.
Anyone
want to take part in some George Lucas bashing?
Hands? Come-on! Pop right over to an article at
Salon: "George Lucas says that if you think Jar
JarBinks was racially problematic, you're as dimwitted as
all movie critics"
